GCSD schools will be opening on a 3-hour delay schedule, due to a Town water main break. We have been notified by the Town of Greenburgh that the water main has been repaired and that it is safe to reopen our buildings.
While the bottled water filtration system is operational and clear, officials have not yet determined whether a boil water advisory will be issued. Therefore, students are encouraged to bring their own bottled water to school out of an abundance of caution.
Three-hour delay opening times are as follows:
- Woodlands Middle High School, 10:50 a.m.
- Richard J. Bailey Elementary School, 11:00 a.m.
- Lee F. Jackson Elementary School, 11:45 a.m.
- Highview Elementary School, 11:45 a.m.
- Early Childhood Program, 12:15 p.m.
All afterschool activities will proceed as scheduled.
